Lone Star Camp Out
Our campout will be March 25-27,2011 at Daniel Springs Encampment in Gary, Texas.
This will be the fifth year at this location. We always have a great time and everyone is invited (so please invite your friends regardless of their ministry or club affiliation). There will be an evening meal Friday, 3 meals on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday. New for this year:Friday night and Saturday night meals are being prepared by a chapter of CRMM. There will be dorm style lodging or tent and self contained RV camping is allowed. The cost for the event is $65 per person if registered by Feb. 28, 2011. After that the gate fee of $80 per person will be required. This covers your meals and lodging for the weekend. (The fee is the same no matter if you are staying in the dorm, tenting, RVing or staying in a motel(at your expense). Rather you eat or not, it cost the whole fee to go in the gate rather you're there 5 minutes or 3 days.) Some chapters are doing fundraisers to pay for their members to attend the campout. Some are preparing and selling meals on Sundays after church, doing car washes and other things to raise money. Some have rented cabins in the past and those will be available again this year. You need to contact James Speer at jspeer9064@aol.com to reserve one while they are available. There is an additional $25 fee to cover the cost of cleaning. It is due at your arrival to the camp.
